Obstetrician Gynecologists, or Ob-Gyns for short, are physicians who specialize in women’s health. They deliver babies, help mothers through pregnancies and postpartum depression, and they diagnose and treat diseases in female reproductive organs. It is advised that you visit an Ob-Gyn at least once a year for a pelvic exam if you are between the ages of 21 and 29.
