All About Periods

According to Planned Parenthood, periods, or menstruation, is the monthly flow of blood and tissue from the uterus and out the vagina. Some common symptoms include abdominal cramps, breakouts, tender breasts, fatigue, bloating, bowel issues, headaches, mood swings, lower back pain, as well as trouble sleeping. No woman’s symptoms are exactly the same, and each woman has a different way of dealing with their various symptoms. Period products are used to collect the blood and tissue which flows out of the uterus.
